I've noticed a slight rattling noise coming from the back of my car, especially when I drive over potholes. Is there any way to fix this?

I’ve had similar noises before, and it usually ends up being something loose in the trunk or under the car. Have you checked the rear suspension or anything in the cargo area?

There’s a sound insulation or cabin exhaust flap at the back wall that causes a loud, annoying rattle or buzzing. If you remove it, the noise disappears completely. The process is a bit of a hassle, though, since you’ll need to take off a few panels.
