I've had my Mach-E for almost 3 years without any issues, and lately, I've been seeing this 12V battery fault warning pop up every now and then. It doesn’t stick around, and the dealer couldn’t find anything wrong. Should I be freaking out about a potential battery issue, or is it nothing to worry about?

Looks like there’s something a bit off here. Make sure you haven’t installed any random apps that could be poking around your vehicle’s data. Also, maybe try turning off the welcome lighting feature and see if that helps.

I’ve had my Mach-E for a while now, and the tech keeps saying I’m not driving it enough. I drove about 450 km over the weekend, plugged it in, and got the "Service 12V Battery Soon" warning the next morning. Doesn’t make sense to me

I had something similar happen with my Mach-E a while back. The 12V battery warning would pop up randomly, but then disappear before I could do anything about it. At first, I brushed it off since everything seemed fine, but then one morning, bam, the car wouldn’t start, it turned out the 12V battery was on its last legs.

If it keeps happening, I’d keep an eye on it and maybe have the battery tested independently, even if the dealer didn’t find anything. A weak 12V can cause weird issues, and I’d rather swap it on my terms than get stranded..

Don't panic just yet. Those warnings can be triggered by a number of things from minor voltage fluctuations to actual battery issues. Since the dealer didn't find anything, it's probably not a catastrophic failure, but that doesn't mean you should ignore it completely. Keep an eye on how often it pops up, and if it starts happening more frequently, or if you notice any other electrical weirdness, head back to the dealer. You might also want to check the 12V battery connections yourself, just to make sure they're clean and tight. It could be a simple case of a slightly loose connection. Basically, stay vigilant, but don't lose sleep over it... unless it gets worse.
