I swapped out my Mach-E seats for some Corbeau A4s, and man, it was a challenge! Had to whip up my own seat brackets because there are zero aftermarket options yet. Plus, the aftermarket seats don't have side airbags, so I had to get a little creative with bypassing the airbag warning system. It's doable, but definitely not a walk in the park. Anyone else out there tackled a Mach-E seat swap? How’d it turn out for you?

Hey a full DIY seat swap in a Mach-E is hardcore. Fabricating your own brackets and tackling the airbag system is some serious dedication. You're basically blazing a trail for other Mach-E owners who want to customize their interiors and we'd love to know how you'll do it. Honestly, that's the kind of project that separates the true enthusiasts from the casual drivers. I bet those Corbeau A4s look and feel amazing. dealing with those modern airbag systems is no joke. Hopefully, some aftermarket companies will catch on and start offering plug-and-play seat solutions for the Mach-E.

Hey, quick question: If you’re installing materials or parts that weren’t designed for your car or aren’t set up as intended, would insurance still cover you if something goes wrong in an accident?

Basically, if you mess with anything the government says you need, your warranty could be toast, or so I've been told.
