I forgot to change this in my wife’s car for 40,000 miles…yuck!
I should do it every 20,000 miles (that’s what Ford says for my Mach-E). Well, lesson learned, now I have a reminder so I don’t forget again!

Yeah, it’s easy to forget, at least now you’ve got a reminder, I bet the difference in air quality is noticeable after the swap..It’s one of those details that's easy to neglect, but actually pretty important. The best part? It’s inexpensive and a breeze to replace, so it’s almost a no-brainer to get it sorted. Not that I’m in a position to preach...![]()
If it’s too dirty, it can reduce airflow, strain the HVAC system, cause odors, and even affect air quality inside the car.Wondering what kind of issues can pop up if you put off changing the filter for too long?
