Recently got a bunch of Sync updates on my car and now the front camera is acting up. Bluecruise keeps dropping out with a "camera fault" error. It's super annoying. Has anyone else experienced this after the latest updates? Resetting Sync didn't do anything for me so I'm taking it in for service soon.

I believe you're one of the victims of the TSB 23-2137 Front Camera Fault. My car has 40k miles and I've been dealing with this problem since last December. The previous 'fix' was a software update, but the current issue is different. It's frustrating that they're treating it as a new problem when I've been getting the same pre-collision assist warnings and error messages for months.

From my experience, this kind of issue often happens when there’s a mismatch between the update and the hardware calibration. Since resetting Sync didn’t help, it might be a firmware issue with the camera itself. The service team might reflash the system or recalibrate the cameras for you. Hopefully, it’s just a quick fix and won't waste a few days in the service center.
