So I’m in the thick of installing this FitcamX dash cam with the rear option on my mom’s Mach-E. Front camera’s all set up, but now I’m kinda stuck trying to figure out how to hide the wires without them sticking out like a sore thumb. Any tricks for popping off the panels without totally wrecking them?

There are tons of vids online that can totally help you out. And guess what? There’s even one where you don’t have to pop any panels at all. Just hit up a quick search, and you’ll find exactly what you need!

In my case, I just slid the extra cable into the back panel with zero hassle, and there was still more than enough slack, even after moving the camera to the right. I had to do this to avoid an upside-down rear view and to keep the cable from looping awkwardly over the camera. Honestly, it would've been way easier if Fitcamx had just added a simple software option to flip the image vertically, then I could've kept the camera on the left side and saved some time!

Just installed both the front and rear FitcamX cameras and tbh, I was a bit worried about running the rear cable at first. But it turned out to be way easier than I thought! No need to pop any panels or anything, so the whole process went way smoother than I expected.

Thanks to this super helpful YT video that walked me through it step by step, definetely saved me some hassle..
