I’ve been using an OBD2 adapter with the Car Scanner app and connected it successfully using the Mach-E profile. While most of the live data seems to work fine, I’ve noticed that the energy consumption rates, both kWh/100km and mi/kWh, are not registering anything. It just shows zeros across the board.

Is there a specific setting or tweak I’m missing to get this data to display correctly?

It might be an issue with the app’s settings or the OBD2 adapter compatibility. You can check if the Mach-E profile needs any updates or adjustments.

It might be worth checking if you’re using the latest version of the Car Scanner app. Sometimes updates include fixes or improvements for specific car profiles, including EVs like the Mach-E. Also, make sure your OBD2 adapter supports all the data points; some cheaper models can miss out on transmitting certain parameters.

Have you checked the app’s settings to ensure those metrics are enabled, or maybe the Mach-E is just in "savings mode" with its data too?

Have you tried using a different app or adapter to see if the data shows up?
