I took my car to the dealer for a driver-side noise issue, which has a TSB. I wonder if I’d have been charged if I didn’t mention it. Also, I’m confused about the maintenance schedule, three dealers gave me different answers, and the manuals contradict each other. What’s the correct source of info?

It would be helpful to provide more details. For instance, what year is your car? If it's a 2021, the bumper-to-bumper warranty may have already expired, meaning you'd likely be responsible for any repairs related to window noise (even if there’s a TSB).

The best place to find maintenance information is the owner's manual, which should be your car’s go-to reference. For example, here’s the manual for the 2023 model: https://www.fordservicecontent.com/...g_Mach-E_Owners_Manual_version_1_om_EN-US.pdf.

Thanks for the advice...My car’s a 2023, so I guess warranty coverage is still good. I’ll check the owner’s manual for maintenance clarity.

That’s frustrating when the info doesn’t line up. If the TSB covers it, you should be good under warranty, but yeah, the manual can be a mess sometimes. I’d recommend double-checking with the manufacturer’s website or even a trusted independent shop to get a clearer picture on the maintenance schedule.
