Just picked up my first EV and I’m trying to figure out the parking rules. I noticed there’s this special EV parking spot at the mall with ChargePoint chargers, but only a few cars were actually plugged in. So, what's the scoop? Do you have to be charging if you park there, or is it chill just to park even if you’re not plugged in?

It’s totally not like a disabled parking spot - this one’s for charging up your EV only! So if you park here, don’t just chill, plug in your car and let it juice up!

if you're not charging you shouldn't park there especially if others are waiting. It's like parking at a gas pump without filling up. Even if it's not enforced it's just good manners, and you might need that spot later.

Honestly, it’s a simple rule of thumb. If you’re not charging, don’t park there. It’s all about being considerate, especially since there are usually limited spots. If you can’t charge, just park somewhere else and save those spots for those who need them!
