So I’m rolling with a 2022 Mach-E that’s clocked around 25k miles and it’s time for a tire rotation. I’m wondering if there’s anything else I should tackle while I’m at it, or if there are any sneaky service items I should be aware of. I’ve had my share of dealership drama in the past, so I’d rather avoid them if I can. Anyone else been through their 25k mile service and have tips or advice?

For EVs like the Mach-E, the service is pretty minimal compared to traditional cars. Definitely go for the tire rotation and consider checking the alignment if the roads in your area are rough. If you want to go the extra mile, check the coolant levels for the battery system, even though it’s not a frequent maintenance item, it doesn’t hurt to keep an eye on it. I’d say skip the dealership unless you notice any software or hardware issues that might need their touch.

At 25k miles, a tire rotation is definitely a good call. While you’re at it, check the brake pads and fluid levels, they don’t wear out as fast on EVs but still worth a look. Also, inspect your tires for uneven wear, especially if you’ve skipped alignments. You can DIY most of this without involving the dealer!

You might wanna check out your battery’s state of health too. Not something you need to do all the time, but hey, it’s not a bad idea to ask about it if you haven’t noticed any performance drops. You can track it through an app or the car’s system. And definitely keep an eye on those software updates, especially if you’ve had any weird glitches. Better to stay ahead of things!
