Charge Port Door Not Lining Up Right

My Mach-E’s charge port door cover is all out of whack and nearly rubbing against the fender. I’m pretty sure there’s a clip or something holding it in place, but I’m a bit scared to mess with it. Has anyone tackled this before? Got any tips to fix this thing up right?

Push the painted surface towards the vehicle as you open it. This may help to realign it.

I’m dealing with the same thing! Definitely wasn’t an issue when I first got it, so it feels like something’s come loose and shifted out of place. So frustrating!

Could be a loose clip or mounting point. I'd say give the area a once-over for any clips or screws that might’ve come undone. If you’re not totally sure, a quick stop at the dealer to get it properly aligned could save you from future hassle.
