Okay, so I finally put my frunk to good use (hiding something for a surprise, fancy, huh?). Problem is, the thing's a beast and I had to ditch the frunk divider to fit it. Now I'm wondering, is that divider even necessary? I mean, other than stopping stuff from flying around when I'm bombing down the highway, what's the point? Anyone else removed theirs and living the divider-free life?

Personally I like keeping the frunk liner in. It's great for hauling stuff from the grocery store – keeps all your bottles and jugs from rolling around. I also throw a roll of paper towels and some glass cleaner in there. Keeps everything neat and tidy!

Unless you've got toddlers running around and you're worried about them messing with it, I'd leave it in. Mine's been in there for over two years, and it makes the frunk way more usable.

Frunk surprises, nice! That divider's mostly for organization and stopping small things from moving around it's not a structural thing. If your stuff fits snug without it you're good. Many ditch it for more space especially for big loads. Just remember if you're driving hard secure anything loose or you might have stuff flying around. So ditch the divider but keep an eye on your cargo!

I’d say it depends on what you’re hauling. If it’s big stuff, ditch the divider. If it’s smaller things, like snacks or bottles, then I’d probably leave it in. I took mine out to fit some camping gear and haven’t looked back, but I keep an eye on it when I’m zooming around.
