So my Mach-E is just hitting a year old, but it’s barely seen any action mileage-wise. I’m thinking about what kind of maintenance it might need. I know about the 10K service stuff, but that’s still ages away. Any ideas as to what I need to check with my Mach-E for now?

If you check out the maintenance schedule, you'll notice it’s all about how many miles you’ve put on the car, not how much time has passed. So if you haven’t racked up many miles in a year, you can totally chill and skip the maintenance for now. No need to stress!

Nah, I wouldn't do a thing. If rotation is way away from 10k. Just stick to that schedule. If you barely drive, like 3K miles a year, then rotate 'em every couple of years. Swap out the cabin filter around then too.

Look, that maintenance schedule is all about mileage, not time. So, if you're still ages away from 10K miles? You're good to go.

Since you're low on miles focus on things that degrade over time not mileage. Pay special attention to your 12V battery as it can weaken regardless of how much you drive. Check your tires for proper pressure and any signs of aging. Also take a look at your cabin air filter as it can get dirty even without heavy use. And just give your car a quick once-over for any leaks or strange sounds when you do drive it. It's always better to be safe even with low mileage.
